This is my "everyday" eyelid primer, due to its reasonable price. It performs for me just as well as the pricier Too Faced Shadow Insurance, which is my "first string" eyeshadow primer If I apply the Milani primer to clean dry lids, blend gently with a brush or finger, then dust lightly with a translucent blotting powder, I have a smooth neutral canvas on which my [pressed powder] eyeshadows apply easily, blend well, and look vibrant and crease-free for several hours. As others have mentioned, if you apply the Milani primer too generously, it's likely to look cakey, but that's easily avoidable. In short, this primer is cruelty-free, reasonably priced, and high-performing. I expect to buy it again, repeatedly.
